Easy programming for Arduino enthusiasts!

I actually bought the paperback copy of this book, and found it really helpful. I'm a newbie programmer, and I've never dealt with HTTP before. I really struggled to do anything useful with the example sketches that I found on the Arduino website, and had to go in search of a more accessible guide.
This author is clearly in tune with the beginner programmer, and has put a lot of thought into what kind of information readers like me would actually find useful. He also does a great job of guiding the reader through some quite tricky topics, thanks to the clear and concise writing style.
I would definitely recommend this book for people like me, who are enthusiastic Arduino programmers, but who don't have much experience in coding web protocols. It would also be useful to anyone who has just got their Ethernet shield and is unsure of where to begin.

This is a great introduction into connecting the Arduino to the internet using the Ethernet shield. The book is really well laid out with detailed diagrams and clear, concise instructions. Just what I was looking for - Highly recommended.

Not for the beginner

I found it difficult to follow along with the book. A lot of information and code was presented without the benefit of demonstrating the practical application with the Arduino. I would have preferred a more incremental approach where a section of code would be introduced and then upload that code to the Arduino to show what it does.
