Flawed survey

This book is somewhat frustrating. As a history, it is weakened significantly because it is simply rife with factual errors and could have used a good editor. As a survey it is constrained because it is heavily weighted toward British architecture. That having been said, the author offers a few valid critical insights and many of the photos that were used capture the flavor of the buildings chosen. However, there are many finer architectural surveys available than this tome.

I love modern and contemporary architecture and design. Saw this book somewhere and forgot about it until i saw it online. A great reference book for mainly architecture.

I thought it was a standard (?) sized book. Its a tiny little book that is almost impossible to flip through. Very disappointed.
