About the Author
Michal Sedziwoj (Michael Sendivogius, Sedzimir) (1566–1636) of Ostoja coat of arms was a Polish alchemist, philosopher, and medical doctor. A pioneer of chemistry, he developed ways of purification and creation of various acids, metals and other chemical compounds. He discovered that air is not a single substance and contains a life-giving substance-later called oxygen 170 years before similar discoveries by Scheele and Priestley. He correctly identified this 'food of life' with the gas (also oxygen) given off by heating nitre (saltpetre). This substance, the 'central nitre', had a central position in Sedziwoj's schema of the universe.

I loaned out my old copy and never got it back, so just bought a new copy....does that tell you how much I like this book?
I've read my share of these type of books, and this one is at the top of my list with Angelnook Publishing Books!

I must say one of my favorite books on this topic, I was very very surprised with this book. The book and chapter selection is nice and WAY more than I ever expected. I definitely did not expect to find such book treasure.

Alchemy. Oh Alchemy! Wherefore art thou gold and silver??? Love this. The Hermetic Art isn't something to be taken lightly. This is an ugly secret that can destroy society. Gold can be made. It has been known for as long as man has existed and the WHORE governments of the world know it too. They keep us all in the dark regarding how to achieve personal wealth and not depend on their false religion that corrupt the masses and keep us poor and stupid. What happens when people get tired of being poor and stupid????

Being a student of alchemy I appreciated the chance to read a genuine alchemical philosophy book. It is a good book for those who want to move on to the original material of alchemical philosophy.
